THIS JAZZ CLUB IS SERVING SOME GREAT FOOD TOO! - Dirty Apron by The Piano Man - Review

Image
DIRTY APRON BY THE PIANO MAN, SAFDARJUNG One of the most iconic locations to ever open up in the national capital is The Piano Man. Great music, great vibes and great people! However, that is not all that The Piano Man has to offer. Dirty Apron by The Piano Man is the ultimate marriage of culture and cuisine as the symphony of flavours comes to your plate via the beautiful dishes and drinks being served at Dirty Apron. Located just above The Piano Man Jazz Club, Dirty Apron is a treat for the eyes as well. The bright and vibrant ambiance is a delight to sit in, and the staff is extremely polite and friendly. One highlight of your experience will be the music that would be playing in the speaker system, just perfect for a restaurant of this stature. Coming to the meal itself, we started off by ordering ourselves some beverages. The Guavatini  had the exotic flavor of guava and a chili kick to it. The perfect way to start your meal, refreshing and exciting! And the ...

CLASSICS NEVER DIE - SANDOZ - REVIEW

Image
SANDOZ, CONNAUGHT PLACE First, let me tell you about the first time my friend told me she's going to Sandoz with her family. I'd heard about the place and seen its boards throughout Connaught Place and I told her "Isn't that the place that is trying to copy Nandos with the name?" And she told me "No, it's a pretty good family restaurant." This is probably the idea most people have when it comes to unknown classics throughout the capital of the nation. Sandoz has been serving up great Indian food in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place since forever. And it shows in the kind of food they serve as well as the simplicity of the place. THE AMBIENCE Sandoz has a very warm tone to the colors of the place. There are multiple paintings and portraits of yesteryear and the tables and chairs to match. The uniform of the waiters is a simple shirt and pants whilst they serve you with the brightest smile you've ever seen. It feels like yo...

AUTHENTIC ORIENTAL - Yum Chi - Review

Image
YUM CHI, VIJAY NAGAR New Delhi is a cauldron of cultures. It has been influenced by every immigrant family that has stepped foot into this great city. And one such culture is the Chinese and Tibetan culture. The food has been greatly influenced by the same and one of their classics has taken over the city by storm by the name "Momo". And somewhere along the line, the authentic Chinese cuisine has been lost. The Delhi-Street-Chinese has taken us to chilli potato, chilli chaap, chowmein, spring rolls and away from the Thukpa, Dimsums and Kotheys. But one restaurant in Vijay Nagar near North Campus of the University of Delhi aims to get people the real taste of the orient. AMBIENCE Yum Chi in Vijay Nagar transports you to the hills of Tibet and the decor is subtle and calming. The flags waving across the roof, the wooden flooring and tables to match the beautiful lights running across the restaurant make for a beautiful setting. The service is friendly and...

HWEALTHCAFE, NEW FRIENDS COLONY With modernisation, people have become more conscious about how they look on the outside and to maintain the same, they're conscious about what they put inside their bodies. Forget the good old medication to get your vitamins and minerals, people try to incorporate these nutrients within the meals they eat. But calorie counting on your own is a very difficult task. No matter how much you try, you'll end up adding just a few more spoonfuls of oil to make your food tasty. However, the folks at Hwealthcafe (Health Wealth Cafe) have taken exception to this! They're here to make your life easier, your food tastier and healthier. The concept behind Hwealthcafe is pretty basic. Make healthy food exciting AND make exciting food healthy!
