THE SPICIEST BURGER IN INDIA!

Image
Biggies Cafe, New Friends Colony Delhi is evolving when it comes to good food. You have fusion food now, which seemed a distant reality back in the day, you have all sorts of snacking options for the healthy and the cravers.  Now, it's time for Food Challenges! Biggies Cafe at New Friends Colony has opened up in the same space as Hwealthcafe. It is beautiful with it's vibrant green ambiance and quirky decor. The service is impeccable and super friendly. They have what they call India's Spiciest Burger (Probably) by the name of the Fire Burger ! A meaty, juicy, chicken burger served with fries. The task is to finish this burger in 3 minutes without water (or any such drink)!  It's THE SPICIEST THING you will ever eat in your life. But the thrill of it is worth it. The feeling of pure accomplishment you have at the end of finishing the burger is pure bliss.  You get 3 minutes to finish a meaty burger and some potato wedges, and if you do it without the h...

JAMNA-PAAR'S MOST BEAUTIFUL CAFE - Cafe Wink - Review

Image
Have you ever been to a place that made you think " aisa ghar hi toh chahiye" ? If not, you've never been to Cafe Wink  in Sreshtha Vihar. This place is what dreams are made of. If I weren't a happy heterosexual male, I'd be proposing to this fine piece of architecture left, right and centre. Cafe Wink is a prime example of you eat with your eyes first  with it's simple, victorian-ish decor and the effort that has gone into it with its ambiance is impeccable. The place stands out in what seems perhaps the West Delhi of East Delhi, Anand Vihar. The place is located next to DAV School and can easily be spotted because it is the most beautiful place in the area. It's like spotting Eminem in a group of generic black rappers. Coming to the service, the staff is super friendly. If I had a daughter, mai uska haath de deta inhe. Because I know they know how to take care of someone. They always served us with a smile. Gems. :') Nex...

THE MOST ROMANTIC PLACE TO HAVE TEA AT!

Image
For ages your friends might have been promising you chai pe charcha but somehow you never got around to pick a place. Well, this beautiful, clean and vibrant place in Sainik Farms is serving a A MILLION types of tea! Well, not a million but you get the point. Over 50 from what I could count. The Red Kettle  is a beautiful outlet opposite Champa Gali next to Saket Metro Station. It has a beautiful walk way that is beautifully lit and has the feel of a romantic movie. Let's say everything that is NOT a Yash Raj Film. To begin with, we ordered the popcorn chicken . Served on skewers, these little pops of flavour were served with a yogurt dip which was fresh and light and vibrant! Perfect pairing with the popcorn chicken! The food at The Red Kettle is fresh and so full of flavour. The Masala Fries were perhaps the best french fries I've had in 2019. The fries were crisp on the outside and ever so soft on the inside. The hot sauce served with the fries and ...

THIS IS THE LARGEST PROPERTY IN CONNAUGHT PLACE AND IS PURE MAGIC!

Image
"CP milte hai, phir decide karte hai kahan jana hai" This is exactly hat Delhites say whenever they plan to go someplace to eat. Connaught Place, the centre of the city, is infamous for having really expensive places to eat at. So much so that people can't really decide where to eat so they end up going to either a fast food joint or conquering the crowd at Rajiv Chowk to go someplace else. But the LARGEST PROPERTY IN CP is offering you a chance to be mesmerized by it's food, music and ambiance! Ministry of Beer at M Block, Outer Circle is a beautiful place for you and your friends to try out. IT IS MASSIVE! With floors upon floors of seating space, MOB has outdoor seating, booths, barstools and more! Coming to the food, they serve everything! North Indian, Chinese, Continental and a few fusion dishes they've perfected. My personal favourite from their sister outlet at Gurgaon is the Pull Apart Garlic Bread. Here at MOB, Connaught Place...

BEAUTIFUL NORTH EASTERN AND TIBETAN FOOD IN CHAMPA GALI!

Image
PATTA CAFE, CHAMPA GALI   Patta Cafe is hidden away in the most scenic of places that Delhi has to offer, Champa Gali. It's a beautiful cafe with loads of colors to boast. The open area outside the door is perfect for Instagram worthy content as well! As soon as you enter, the vibe calms you down. It's like you've been transported to some hillside café in the North Eastern foothills. The decor, the music, the food, Patta Cafe is all about the roots! Their menu justifies the same. They have a variety of cuisine including Tibetan, Naga, Bhutanese and Chinese. I would like to take this moment to first mention Tenzin, the friend of the owner who waited our table at Patta Cafe. He was the sweetest server possible. He suggested we try some of the more authentic dishes that they had to offer. So we went with what he suggested. We went for the Tsampa Shake, which I did not try at Ama Cafe in Majnu Ka Tila because they said it's made from wheat. But here I went with w...

THE ONLY THING MISSING IS THE SERVERS DOING BHANGRA IN THIS DESI PUNJABI THEMED RESTAURANT

Image
DHABA - A PUNJABI THEME I've always been amazed by the very idea of dining raw, dining ethnic, dining desi. The best possible experience I've had of dining like that would be in Chowki Dhani in Jaipur. And it is really tough to recreate that experience of getting close to our desi roots. However, this beautiful joint in Rajouri Garden states it plain and simple right in its name. Dhaba - A Punjabi Theme is, as the beautifully thought of name that must have taken them ages to think of suggests, a Punjabi Themed restaurant that looks like a Dhaba. MIND = BLOWN. Well, the name is a spoiler for what awaits you inside, but the door of the place is very distinct. It has two massive statues of what seem to be Pharaohs. Well, okay, Punjab may have had Pharaohs for all we know but we were too busy focusing on the Bhangra. Dhaba has a dining hall on two floors and a banquet/ party hall as well. The dining hall that we sat in was very homely. It felt like we were at our Ludh...

A CAFE STRAIGHT OUT OF FRIENDS!

Image
For ages and beyond Indian people have had the urge to sit in Central Perk, sip on some fresh brewed Latte and ask people of their age group, "How you doin?" Unfortunately for them, they look like Nirahua Rikshawala rather than Joey Tribbiani, they say " Aur bhaiiiii kahan chali? " instead of the famous catchphrase and they have their local chai wala on the nukkad rather than Central Perk. Now, you cannot give someone the charisma of Joey Tribianni by making them binge on 10 seasons of Friends, but you can give them a cafe that is lively and that plays smooth jazz over the speaker system. How You Brewing?   is the metaphorical amazement that gives you the opportunity to sip on some hot coffee, eat some muffins or croissants, or some Paappe if you're desi. Located in East of Kailash, near the famous Street Food Mecca, Amar Colony, How You Brewing has an outlook that is hard to miss. Massive green doors and windows and a bright sign that says the n...
