THE MOST ROMANTIC PLACE TO HAVE TEA AT!

Image
For ages your friends might have been promising you chai pe charcha but somehow you never got around to pick a place. Well, this beautiful, clean and vibrant place in Sainik Farms is serving a A MILLION types of tea! Well, not a million but you get the point. Over 50 from what I could count. The Red Kettle  is a beautiful outlet opposite Champa Gali next to Saket Metro Station. It has a beautiful walk way that is beautifully lit and has the feel of a romantic movie. Let's say everything that is NOT a Yash Raj Film. To begin with, we ordered the popcorn chicken . Served on skewers, these little pops of flavour were served with a yogurt dip which was fresh and light and vibrant! Perfect pairing with the popcorn chicken! The food at The Red Kettle is fresh and so full of flavour. The Masala Fries were perhaps the best french fries I've had in 2019. The fries were crisp on the outside and ever so soft on the inside. The hot sauce served with the fries and ...

PROBABLY THE BEST BIRYANI IN SOUTH DELHI

Image
THE BIRYANI PROJECT, GREATER KAILASH 2 Biryani is something that us Delhites have taken to heart. All of us have our own favorite places that serve biryani. And with more than a handful of new joints opening up everywhere, it's hard to pick your one true savior. Whenever you're craving for that handi full of rice, loaded with fried onions and doused with chunks of chicken on the bone, you end up getting it from your nearest "Moradabadi Biryani" store that has a neon sign and just a pateela full of regular old rice and some chicken. They measure it out and serve it to you in disposable plates. Why settle for anything less than a methodically prepared, systematically generated, meticulously synthesized handi of Biryani? The Biryani Project  in Greater Kailash is a result of years of trying and testing and tasting! The people behind this venture have been all across India, trying out various Biryanis the country has to offer. And no no no, they don't ju...

EVENINGS ARE NOW LIT! - Review - LIT BAR AND RISTORANTE

Image
LIT BAR AND RISTORANTE, GK3 Greater Kailash 3, or Masjid Moth, is the lesser known cousin of the other GKs. is the posh one. Not that GK1 or GK2 are any less, but my God, is GK3 beautiful. With restaurants like Mainland China, The Velvet Room and LIT, GK3 is a very well hidden treasure. Talking about modern, sharp and abstract beauty, LIT Bar and Ristorante fits right in! You're welcomed by sharp edges on the exterior and a wall with microherbs and plants that spell out LIT. As soon as you step through the elegant barricading, you're greeted by subtle hues of blue and shades of grey. 50 of them. (Ooh. Mood set.) Along with great smooth mattes, the LEDs and the furniture adds to the experience as well. There are two floors, and plenty of seating areas. The DJ plays some beautiful tunes to set the mood. There's plenty of natural light for your Insta worthy photos as well! There's fantastic service as well. The menus are LIT too! LITERALLY. Ther...

THE WAY FOOD IS MEANT TO BE - Review - The Gourmet's

Image
THE GOURMET'S, C.R. PARK There are a massive number of delivery outlets running all across Delhi NCR. Especially in South Delhi, there are many restaurants that don't have dine-in capabilities and only run a delivery chain. This independence from a seating arrangement decreases their running costs as well. Some restaurant owners are solely focused on this cost and selling ratio to increase profits. But that is certainly not the case at The Gourmet's in C.R. Park! Very closeby my Grad School, in Kalkaji, The Gourmet's prides itself in making the most hygeinic food possible. They claim to not compromise on the quality of the food. even though the customers might have to pay an extra buck. And their passion for food clearly shines across all aspects of the restaurant. From the friendly delivery to the amazing customer service and feedback retreival system. They are brilliantly acquiring new customers and retaining the old ones too! THE FOOD Now, I...
