THIS PLACE IN GK SERVES NEOPOLITAN PIZZAS THAT YOU'VE NEVER HAD!

Delhites love one thing: cheese. And there's no stopping people who are out to eat this gooey, savoury, stringy and creamy delight. One particular outlet in Greater Kailash is serving up some amazing concoctions with cheese!

Big Fat Sandwich & Pizza in Greater Kailash 2, M-Block Market is a beautiful eatery among giants like Artusi, Carnatic Cafe and Nik Bakers. But they make a mark with their clean ambiance and bright colors! The menu is fresh, vibrant and appeals to anybody who's looking for a quick bite or an entire meal!

They have Pasta, Pizza, Sandwiches, Starters, Mix Platters and the best beverages. They also have multiple other brands under the roof as pop-ups including Blue Tokai.

Talking about the sandwiches themselves, they have plenty to offer including the traditional stuffing between bread, grilled cheese and open sandwiches. The best part being that they offer a plethora of options in bread! OPTIONS. IN. BREAD. MIND = BLOWN (my mind is easily blown don't judge me thanks)

We went on ahead and ordered the Little Italy in sourdough bread. The bread came oozing with buttery goodness and the filling was just the most cheesy pepperoni, mozzarella and cheddar combination ever. Just look at the cheesepull above and tell me you don't want to pop that string of cheese in your mouth and lower in slowly, but gently, like kings do. DO NOT TELL ME THAT. I DARE YOU.

Other key items on the menu include a selection of Pasta including homemade fettucini, homemade tagliatelle and the usual spaghetti and penne. They were out of the homemade pastas so we ordered the Spaghetti in Basil Pesto. The pasta was served with what seemed like garlic kulcha but obviously it was some bread my imbecile mind cannot comprehende at the moment so lets just call it a kulcha. (Maybe it was a kulcha and I'm only doubting myself because of my low self-esteem issues. Maybe it wasn't. Who knows. Please find out for me when you visit. Thanks)

They also serve some killer beverages (not that they actually killed people but they might, I don't know their criminal history) The freshly squeezed orange juice still had the screams of oranges young and old and boy was it tasty. This is why I always go for fresh juice instead of fizzie drinks. Just the best.

But the highlight was definitely the Cold Coffee with Icecream which was just pure gold. Thick, creeamy, loaded with coffee, this drink was SO good we had to get it twice. MUST TRY!

Finally I was introduced to mere sapno ki rani the Neopolitan Style Pizza. This is right there between a thin crust and a pan-pizza with fluffy sides and a medium-thickness base. The pizza we got was the Firestorm which had African Chicken (it tried singing the theme from Lion King but it was too dead to be heard)

The pizza was an absolute pleasure to eat. The crust was brilliant and topped off with a little olive oil, made it even better. The quality of ingredients they use is bliss. Every bite of the pizza felt like a slice of Naples! Good stuff. Real proud of you guys.

In totality, Big Fat Sandwich & Pizza in Greater Kailash 2 should be your go to place when it comes to good food that is light on your stomach. You'll be able to enjoy each dish individually and it'll be the highlight of your day no matter what.

5/5
