THIS IS THE LARGEST PROPERTY IN CONNAUGHT PLACE AND IS PURE MAGIC!

"CP milte hai, phir decide karte hai kahan jana hai"

This is exactly hat Delhites say whenever they plan to go someplace to eat. Connaught Place, the centre of the city, is infamous for having really expensive places to eat at. So much so that people can't really decide where to eat so they end up going to either a fast food joint or conquering the crowd at Rajiv Chowk to go someplace else.

But the LARGEST PROPERTY IN CP is offering you a chance to be mesmerized by it's food, music and ambiance! Ministry of Beer at M Block, Outer Circle is a beautiful place for you and your friends to try out. IT IS MASSIVE! With floors upon floors of seating space, MOB has outdoor seating, booths, barstools and more!

Coming to the food, they serve everything! North Indian, Chinese, Continental and a few fusion dishes they've perfected. My personal favourite from their sister outlet at Gurgaon is the Pull Apart Garlic Bread.

Here at MOB, Connaught Place, we started our meal with some refreshing beverages. The mocktails we ordered were the Kafirlime Orangito and Bubblegum Candy.

The Kafirlime Orangito was a play of a Mojito but it had a very strong flavour of orange. It was fresh and vibrant and was the perfect start to the meal. The Bubblegum Candy was... questionable. It was like somebody took some boomer and put it in soda. Just..WHY? Why would anyone want to drink a bubblegum? I guess people have some weird fetishes. What's next? Eating Rooh-afzah?

Next we moved on to the starters which included the Amritsari Fish, which was like a nice and warm hug of flavours during the winter. The fish was battered and fried and served with some mint chutney and onion. Great starter!

Then we went for the Murgh Afghani Cheddar OHOHOHOHO bhaisahab mazze aa gaye. This is how any and every tikka should be served like. Succulent and soft pieces of chicken in Afghani cream sauce TOPPED with cheese! FOODGASM ALERT.

The Naga Chili Mushroom had an intimidating name, but the dish was mild at best. It was a great tasting dish loaded with flavour! It was meaty and had tons of onion and capsicum to go with it.

Then came the Spaghetti Alfredo which was loaded with bell peppers, onion, olives and one purple vegetable which I thought was baingan but uska astitva koi dhoond nahi paaya. Great tasting dish and really filling!

After the pasta, we were almost done. But in the words of some random hungry person, dessert doesn't go to the stomach, it goes to the heart. And then we ordered the Beer Mississippi Cake which was basically a chocolate truffle pastry with some vanilla icecream on top. Now don't get me wrong, it was tasty, however, it was a cold pastry with cold icecream. Kya hi fayeda bro?

THE VERDICT

In conclusion, Ministry of Beer is the perfect place for you and your friends to hangout and have a good time. The place makes you sit for hours and just talk. If you're lucky, like me, you'll get to see some random bhand girl say "mai toh tumhara bacha hu na" to her boyfriend.
