It's surprising to me how pizza is more often than not associated with a quick fix for calories and junk food that cannot be an experience as a whole. A new outlet in GK 1 is changing the status quo by not only delivering great pizza, but giving you the best kind there is... the Neapolitan Pizza!

Papaji's Pizzeria (Papa Johns must watch out) is dishing out beautiful thick, loaded, cheesy and saucy pizzas which trump the regular old pan-hand tossed-deep dish-thin crust pizzas. Because when you want a true beautiful Italian experience, you have to get the best of Naples.


One aspect of the delivery that I was really impressed by was the packaging. No square pizza boxes for round pizzas, the quirky octagonal box with your name written on it is a great touch. Similarly for the pasta, the packaging is spill proof and you get a glass bottle for your drinks! Very safe and sound, no matter how far away you order from.



Now, to start off with I have to talk about the pizza itself. You think you love pizza? Bhai, when you have these thicc, big boi 13 inch Neapolitan pizzas, you'll start thinking of where you gonna take pizza for your honeymoon they're so good. Absolutely beautiful crust, loaded with cheese and a very flavorsome sauce. The best of everything you want from a gourmet pizza which is called Ricotta Peppay.

The crust stole the show for me. I'm someone who leaves the crusts, but just one bite of this salty, crispy, crunchy yet soft on the inside crust made me question my life's choices. Kya maine aaj tak sab crusts chhod ke galti kari? Kya MBA karna sahi choice hai?


Then came the refreshing Kala Khatta Iced Tea. It's kala, it's khatta, and it's iced. Can it be more fitting to the description? What more do you need on a hot Delhi day than a refreshing bottle of vibrant and tangy kala khatta iced tea man. Kudos to the paper straw too!


I also got the classic Arrabiatta pasta which had hefty pasta and a sauce that just coated it enough to make it flavorful but not drown it. It was cooked well with a layer on cheese on top of it! The perfect side dish to any pizza.


In conclusion, when you order food from Papaji's Pizzeria, it is more than just a pizza or a pasta. It's an entire experience. From getting the beautiful packaging, to tasting the marvel that is their pizza. It's a well thought out menu that caters to your every need.

Perhaps a good old Tiramisu Jar would complete it all!
