Malls are a tough cookie to crack. Your girlfriend makes you walk around all day, holding her bags in one hand while she sips on a Latte Grande from Starbucks, which she got just to walk around with the cup in her hand. Now, when she's tired of clicking photos in the trial rooms of expensive brands and getting those photos to Jawahar Bhaiya in Saket to stitch the exact same thing in a quarter of the price, you guys need a place to eat. But a mall is littered with fast food joints that just don't make the cut, and high-end restaurants that all look the same. WHAT A DILEMMA!

But Fresc Co is here to solve all your problems by offering quite possibly the cleanest, freshest and healthiest food in Ambience Mall, in Gurgaon. Fresc Co looks like its straight out of some teenage girl's dream of Santorini, Greece. The beautiful white ambiance and clean decor makes sure you're ready to step away from the Lachha Paranthas and Dal Makhanis.


As soon as you're seated at Fresc Co, you'll realize that they're nothing like your everyday Indian Restaurant, even their Chutney-Pyaaz are sophisticated and European. Every Indian likes to binge on some sirke waale pyaaz  and pudhine ki chutney before their meal arrives. This way, they can pass time and fill up on something that is free! But at Fresc Co, they serve a complimentary bread basket with Olive Oil and Balsamic. Aah. What a nice, clean touch.


We ordered ourselves a special summer spread of drinks, which included the Mango Mania, Amrodotini and Litchi Sangria. All three drinks tasted fresh and vibrant. The tang and the calming sweetness of the fruits kicked us off on a very fresh note.


Next came the Selection of Bruschetta with a choice of Classic Tomato and Marinated Tomato, we got 2 of each. Just the freshest bruschetta you'll find this side of the Jamuna River. Not even kidding. I've been Jamna-paar just in search of some Marinated-Tomato Bruschetta and I only found chhole bhature...which are NOTHING like Bruscetta. LIES.


We were spoilt for choice in what to get, thus a platter was the best option available. Fresc Co has a number of options when it comes to platters. Be it the Grill Platters, Veg Snacks Platters or the Mezze Platters. We went for the Chicken Snack Platter which included some fried fingers, meatballs and chicken wings. All served with a very fresh sour cream based sauce. Just the perfect finger food for you to enjoy. Fried, saucy, spicy and creamy with the sauce.


Our final main course dish was the Grilled Half Baby Chicken. This chicken would be so proud to know what it was used for. This massive serving of half a chicken in Red Wine and Shallots sauce, served with a Rosemary Mash and Grilled Vegetables of the season was a complete belly filler. The cook on the chicken was fantastic, and so was the mash that was served along with it, which had a hint of rosemary.


The best part about Fresc Co is definitely the Buffet they have to offer. A vast variety of dishes ranging from salads to appetizers to mains to sides to desserts and even drinks! They have Sliders in their buffet, people! SLIDERS! 


Our meal finally ended with a beautiful Blueberry White Chocolate Cheesecake. It was smooth with a crumbly base and a tart blueberry coulis on top. Whattawow ending.

THE VERDICT

Fresc Co is one of the prettiest and cleanest places I've been to. It offers a variety of clean, healthy and fresh dishes that your mom would be proud of you eating. The service is fantastic and the ambiance is mesmerizing. It's a definite must visit for anyone in the area!

MINISTRY OF BEER, GURGAON They say magic isn't real. They say it's only fables that have kept us believing in this fantasy. I say, you haven't been to Ministry of Beer in Sector 29, Gurgaon yet.
