BOWLING, ARCADE, VIRTUAL REALITY AND GREAT FOOD AT SPORTS DINER IN SAKET

If you're looking for a place to spend the entire day at, Sports Diner by Hangout is the perfect place. It has activities for kids, adults and everybody in between. It has a Bowling Alley, an Arcade, a specialized VR Zone as well as a diner to serve you some brilliant food.

Located at the third floor of Select City Walk in Saket, Sports Diner is pretty easy to find. You can hear the good music from a distance. As soon as you enter, there's an aura of fun all around. The darkness and loudness of the place gets you excited, it makes you want to jump around, dance to music, drink from the skulls of your enemies. In short, it's a pretty chill place just to be at.

But why just stay there for the vibe? You spent money and time to get to Select City Walk, you better make it worth your time. Go over to their Bowling Alley, which is lit with some crazy UV Lighs. They give you bowling shoes, they enter your name in their system and off you go. You're ready to defeat your friend who thinks she's a pro at bowling because she went bowling once 7 years ago with her school friends.

And when you're done with bowling, there's the arcade! Aah. The good old arcade at a mall, places where young kids came in and played games that took advantage of their naivety. Games that made you spend thousands of rupees so you could get tickets to exchange for a doll which you could get for Rs 100 at a store in the bylanes of Chandini Chowk. But now that I was all grown up, I played with skill, dexterity, agility and with no will to win a doll. I played games with guns, hammers and lighting bolts to boost my male ego. WHICH WAS PRETTY FUN NONETHELESS!

Now that I spent half an hour on the bowling, an hour on the games and winning tickets, it was time to settle down, drink in the good music and essence of the place and try the food. Firstly, kudos to the service there. The servers are extremely nice and friendly, they're only there to make sure you're having a perfect day, princess. They make me feel like I'm the only person in the world who makes them smile when they wake up. It's nice to feel appreciated every once in a while.

The first thing we tried was the Kung Fu Panda Chicken, which was a classic Kung Pao Chicken, which was crisp, saucy and tasty. It was served in a wagon of sorts with kimchi, The kimchi was fresh and perfectly contrasted the chilli and bitter garlicy chicken.

Next up was the Non Vegetarian Tikka Platter which consisted of Fish Tikka, Murgh Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka and Mutton Seekh Kebab served along side onion rings and a mint chutney. The tikkas were very large and every single one of them had a unique taste. The Mutton Seekh Kebabs were very smooth and melted in the mouth.

The pizza we ordered was loaded with vetables and had plenty of cheese. It was served atop a tennis racket! I don't know if they wanted us to play with the pizza, I went on and ate it instead. That seemed like the sane thing to do. Get your instructions clear, Sports Diner. But the pizza was good, no doubt.

To cap off our meal, we had the Chipotle Chicken Burger which was just the juciest, meatiest, freshest, cheesiest burger I've had in a long long time. It had a classic bun, lettuce, tomato combo but the chicken patty was loaded with cheese. It did feel like a frozen-to-fried burger patty but the buger itself was pretty dope. It was served along with a lettuce salad and some fries. Good stuff!

The meal was done and dusted and so were we. It was a day filled with games, food, bowling, fun and gifts. There are so many things that I didn't get to do there! There's a whole floor upstairs dedicated to kids and a VR Zone for all you who're trying to escape reality and enter a realm of pseudo calm. Yes. I'd love to go to the place again and I really suggest you do too.
